Bought a Nintendo Wii Finally

Finally I bought myself a Nintendo Wii, and I have been playing it for the last 2 days since I bought it on Thursday.

I am having alot of fun playing on the Wii, although now I need more games to play as I have only Wii Sports.

I was thinking of chipping my Wii but I am somewhat undecisive on which chip to use since I have a D2C drive.

Any ideas please? thanks

Play all regions Wii games by using a Homebrew applications

Yes you read well, now it is possible to play the majority of Nintendo Wii games from all the regions, being it PAL/NTSC/JPN .

Gecko Region Free (v1.0) (c) NUke is the homebrew app that does all this.

No New Nintendo DS :(

As eurogamer.net reported Nintendo has told them that there will be no NEW Nintendo DS this year at E3, Nintendo said it was "purely rumour and speculation".

Maybe Nintendo has another surprise for us Nintendo fans this year.

Linux on the Nintendo Wii

On 12 April the website wiibrew.org published on its main page the release of the New Wii Linux (Proof Of Concept 4). As some of you may know there is already a running version of Linux for the Nintendo DS (dslinux.org) that has been released long time ago and have since become better and better.

Hopefully the Wii Linux will also be successful as one of the new feature implemented in this version of Wii Linux is the support for a usb keyboard.

I have quit updating my blog for a very long time now, although I still remember the times I used to post and inform you about recent Nintendo DS news. Hopefully I will start again and now I will include the Nintendo Wii which I still need to buy.
